During Rotterdam Art Week, art lovers can indulge themselves in the old historic city center of Schiedam, only about 10 minutes away from Rotterdam Center, Marconiplein, M4H area and the Van Nelle factory.
A varied and high-quality art program can be seen at the 12 locations in Schiedam, with multiple exhibition openings and music performances at 5 places in the route. Location Ultraum/De Glasfabriek has a daily DJ program from 16:00-24:00.

The Art Route Schiedam walking route is approximately 5 km and is easily accessible by public transport from the key locations in Rotterdam. The route leads through the old city center of Schiedam with its monumental museum quarter, canals, windmills, the old city park and ends at the experimental multidisciplinary art spaces SodaFabriek and Ultraum/De Glasfabriek. Various key locations can also be reached from the SodaFabriek by open sloop .
