Language in Pictures
In the new year we kicked off with the artist Liesbeth van Moorsel - Taal in Beeld. Liesbeth investigates the world of image and language. The conversations we have and the language we use are like a landscape between two people who are in conversation. Through her 16 painted portraits she tries to depict the dynamics of language. The portraits are painted in blue and white.
The Kunsthal
For the occasion, Shed and Het Duivennest will rename their shared corridor in De Kunsthal where various works by various artists will be on display. There is also the possibility to visit the studios and there is a program with workshops, performances, improvisation that you can participate in.

Zuid.Boijmans in De Hillevliet also present two new exhibitions.

KOM
With the KOM project, visual artist and heritage maker Fenmei Hu goes in search of the stories on and behind Chinese-Rotterdam rice bowls and other porcelain. Kom and watch, listen and participate!

Mahjouba etappe Rotterdam Zuid
Together with local craftsmen and knowledge, Éric Van Hove is building a complex and technical engine within the 'Mahjouba initiative'. Earlier engines were built in Ostend, Marrakesh and Leeuwarden, among others. For Mahjouba IV etappe Rotterdam Zuid, Van Hove moves his workspace to Zuid. Boijmans.
