From January 31st to April 16th 2024, the Euromast provides a platform for artist Femke Kock. Through ten unique paintings, she shares her perspective on the rich cultural diversity of Rotterdam. Inspired by pop art, street art, and graffiti, Femke brings a creative interpretation in her own colorful style that seamlessly aligns with the dynamic character of the city.

A visual tribute to Rotterdam and its significant figures and icons.

The painting series is divided into three themes: "Rotterdam Resilience and Renewal," "Cultural Diversity," and "City Icons and Personalities."

Each artwork tells a powerful story, from the impressive reconstruction after the devastating Second World War to the icons adorning the skyline, the caring relationship between the city and its residents, and the narrative of cultural heroes such as Erasmus, Jules Deelder, and Lee Towers.

Her original works will be displayed in the Euromast's restaurant and can be admired exclusively on the evening of January 31st during Rotterdam Art Week. On this night, a portion of the restaurant is made available for guests to view the artworks. On the Euromast's observation platform, the paintings will also be exhibited, in high-quality prints on aluminum plates. High above Rotterdam, visible to everyone during the Euromast's opening hours.
