Driven by her interest in urban sonic technologies and the politics of public space, artist Angeliki Diakrousi went in search of the Mosquito devices installed in the city of Rotterdam. Over the past two years, she has visited these locations, along with friends and associates, speaking with the young people who gather at night and the residents who feel deprived of sleep and rest at home.
Following Angeliki's installation in the exhibition There is no party so noisy as the one you're not invited to, the tour takes the participants during Rotterdam Art Week to various public locations, where the Mosquito device is or was set up in the city . The artist invites you to hang out in those spaces, listen to the soundscapes, learn more about them and share experiences through her 'Hunting Mosquitos' app. Afterwards there is the opportunity to enter into a dialogue with each other about desirable forms of living together in the city.
The tour starts at 6:00 PM at the TENT reception and lasts approximately 90 minutes in total. TENT is located at Witte de Withstraat 50 in Rotterdam.

The exhibitions can be visited free of charge between 6 and 9 pm during De Kunstavond.
