TEC ART Festival 2023: ten-year anniversary edition about drugs
The socially critical art and technology festival TEC ART is from 8 to 12 February
back in the center of Rotterdam as a contrarian part of the Rotterdam Art Week.
The corner of Boomgaardsstraat / Witte de Withstraat forms the backdrop for a
crazy Cyberpunk Arena: 500m2 of futuristic outdoor art that can be experienced for free,
trippy light installations, performances and DJ performances; the adjoining interior spaces of
cultural center WORM can be visited for a psychedelic indoor exhibition
with groundbreaking artworks by well-known names and up-and-coming talents. To
to celebrate the tenth anniversary of TEC ART, the festival kicks off on Wednesday 8 February with
a long-cherished wish of the organization: a taboo-breaking scientific
symposium on the controversial theme of drugs. TEC ART breaks with the symposium and
thematic artworks a lance for more progressive views on drugs and encourages
visitors and policymakers to the groundbreaking capabilities of the mind-expanding
to embrace.
