Roos Janssen is a visual artist based in Rotterdam. She's inspired by reflections around her and wonders about the gateways these reflections can be to different universes. She collects videos of these reflective surfaces and creates installations with analog materials that make you question their reality. The reflective surfaces Janssen uses vary from ripples in water or plays in light in her surroundings. Janssen finds peace in fluidity, getting lost in an ocean of reflections.
Janssen often works together with DJ’s and musicians to create interactive and immersive light and music installations. For her solo exhibition at Time is the new space, Janssen has been given carte blanche and will fill the space with her immersive and engulfing installation.
