Something New Under The Sun is a solo exhibition in the NIO Gallery by duo artists Jingfan Hao (1985) & Lingjie Wang (1984) who focus on subtle changes in nature, with installations and drawing as their main media. Sun Drawing is a longitudinal project capturing our daily light. While tracking meteorological elements, the artists use an instrument with an optical device and thermal paper which documents the path of the Sun. Both artists were born in China and work between France and China.
For the NIO Gallery, Jingfan Hao & Lingjie Wang embark on a new journey that transcends time and space, where the sun and NIO intertwine with the East and West's embrace. Something New Under The Sun unfolds a poetic dialogue about nature, tech and connecting horizons.
NIO is a global premium electric car brand. With its more than 150 community houses – NIO House - around the world NIO creates a community experience.
